Dr. Keith M. Levesque brings a unique perspective to dentistry, combining advanced dental training with an extensive background in mechanical engineering.
Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Levesque earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering from WPI and spent nearly a decade as a mechanical engineer, including designing medical devices and advanced MRI coils for W. L. Gore & Associates.
He later graduated from Harvard School of Dental Medicine, bringing his engineering mindset into patient care. His combined background gives him a distinctive perspective on restorative dentistry, airway health, TMJ function, and oral appliance therapy. He approaches dentistry with curiosity and precision, seeking to understand not simply what is happening, but why.
Education & Advanced Training
Dr. Levesque has developed a particular focus in dental sleep medicine and the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea and chronic snoring. He completed the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine’s Mastery Program, is an AADSM Qualified Dentist, and is board eligible.
His engineering background provides a unique lens through which he approaches sleep medicine, particularly the relationship between airway anatomy, jaw position, TMJ function, and oral appliance mechanics.
Working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers, Dr. Levesque uses customized oral appliance therapy for appropriately selected patients. His goal is not simply to provide an appliance, but to understand each patient’s anatomy, symptoms, diagnosis, and individual needs so treatment can be thoughtfully planned and monitored.
For Dr. Levesque, sleep medicine is a natural intersection of engineering and dentistry—allowing him to apply analytical problem-solving to care that can meaningfully impact a patient’s health and quality of life.
Outside the Office
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Levesque is the proud father of two daughters. An outdoor enthusiast, he enjoys boating, fishing, biking, hiking, and running.
